Can non-residents apply for State CETs?
Yes, outside state students can often apply, but they compete for a very small percentage of seats (usually 15% All India Quota) and sometimes cannot avail fee concessions.
Are State CETs easier than JEE Main?
Yes, the depth of questions is lower than JEE Main. However, you need to solve many more questions in less time, making it a test of speed.
Do State CETs have negative marking?
Major exams like MHT-CET and KCET do not have negative marking. WBJEE, however, does have negative marking.
